[04.23.09] 'Cinderella Man' Yoona's Rising Acting Skills 'Viewers Cry and Laugh'

Of all the actors from MBC's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Cinderella Man', Yoona's acting is recieving a favorable reception by the viewers.

The third episode of "Cinderella Man", which aired on the 22nd, shows Seo Yoojin(Yoona) endure troubles and tears as she takes the role of the head of her household, and her will to stand up again as she looks for work. Yoona's emotional acting caught the viewers' attention.

The unfortunate situation: After suddenly losing her father, Yoojin, who was studying abroad in Paris in a famous fashion school, becomes a merchant in Dondaemun. Her father's only store being taken by moneylenders, and her mother's hospital bills are problems that worry her daily.

Yoojin has to sell the remaining stock; but having lost her stall, and without the help of Oh Daesan(Kwon Sangwoo), she doesn't have the courage to sell on the streets by herself. Hesitating and just sitting around, Yoojin gains some strength by drinking some alcohol and starts talking in a louder voice. She copies Daesan's "Unnie~e, look at these clothes", shouting and catching peoples' attention, and she even does a comical rendition of Lee Hyori's 'U-go-Girl'.

Holding clothes in both hands, shouting "What kind of clothes should I wear today, how about this one or that one, don't worry worry~", and happily shaking her head, Yoojin catches the attention of the crowd and the viewers.

Again, in today's episode, Yoona's emotional acting moved the audience. After picking up her mother, who was just released from the hospital, they return home but start to cry because everything there reminds them of Yoojin's father. Yoojin hardens her will and says firmly, "Don't worry about anything, I will do my best. I'm not a child anymore. I'll definitely stand up again and take you, Mom, with me to Paris."

Seeing Yoojin struggle and in tears, fighting against the adversities to help her sick mother, is a situation that just tugs people hearts.

After that day's broadcast of "Cinderella Man", viewers left favorable comments of Yoona's acting in the bulletin board. "We were crying and laughing in sync with Yoona's acting."; "Even though it's only her second big role her acting skills have improved a lot, there's no awkwardness at all."; "Watching her dance crazily to U-Go-Girl was extremely cute."; "Her crying scenes were the best."; were some of the messages posted, showing a warm reception to Yoona's delicate emotional acting.

On the other hand, the audience has lots of expectations of the love-line between Yoojin and Daesan, who dreams of being successful in Dongdaemun, and their growing relationship.

[04.23.09] SNSD Produced & Acted Horror Film, Planned Release this Summer

9 girls that dominated Korea with the 'Gee' hurricane; wil be challenging themselves to the making of a horror film that's planned to be released this coming summer.

Kim Youngjin PD, who is in charge of 'SNSD's Horror Film Factory' announced on the 23rd at the press conference of SNSD's new corner on 'Sunday Sunday Night', "A horror film that portrays each of the 9 girl's personality will be created and released this coming summer."

Kim Youngjin PD stated, "The 3 months project for this summer will be a 30 minute long film and a theater will be borrowed to release the movie. It will be free of charge" and "I thought that a horror film is perfect fit for the personality of the girls of SNSD, and all of the members are very supportive of the proposed idea."

Kim PD continued, "Every week, the girls will take on the challenges of acting lessons and various missions related to casting and finding items needed for the film" and "The member that performs the best will be given a chance to make a testing film which will be distributed to various movie directors to take in diverse opinions on the filming. To raise the quality of the film, we might need to receive help from professionals."

Also Kim PD stated, "We were aiming for the summer and named the corner 'Horror Film Factory', but if the corner receives good reviews there are possibilities that the girls of SNSD will be able to use this opportunity to branch to other divisions of the entertainment industry. The show could progress to fit the seasons, such as 'SNSD's Mellow Film' in the autumn." He added, "I have seen SNSD work as editors on cable TV and thought that the girls had a high possibility of success in branches of the entertainment industry other than just filming."

Kim PD concluded by saying, "I haven't fully discovered all the potential of the girls in the filming aspect. And with the genre being a horror film, we will have to make adjustments as we proceed with the filming" and "We can write the scenario but it might be fun to take suggestions from the viewers. The characters of each the girls will be determined after figuring out the specific appeals of each member."

Beginning on May 3rd, 'Horror Film Factory' of Sunday Sunday Night will air with SNSD having with new teachers each episode who will teach the girls on various aspects of acting. The girls will be tested on diverse aspect of filming and acting. The girl that is chosen as the Horror Queen of the 'Horror Film Factory' will be elected to be the female lead actress, and will become a Co-MC along with Yoo Saeyoon, Jo Haeryun and Kim Shinyoung to discuss many topics about SNSD.

On the other hand, Yoona was not present at the press conference due to the filming of MBC midweek drama 'Cinderella Man'.

‘Dungeon and Fighter’s gamers prefer Girl’s Generation member Tae Yeon’s appellation (identifying name or title)* according to a survey.

Neohpeul’s action game ‘dungeon and fighter’s’ Girls Generation appellation event has received explosive popularity. Tae Yeon’s voice inserted appellation was the most popular out of all the members.

According to the survey by the Daily Game on the April 20th from 2:00 PM to 8:00PM in ‘Dungeon and Fighter’ casillas server major town, gamers used Tae Yeon’s appellation the most then followed by that of Tiffany's, and Jessica's.

This research was conducted by checking the Girl’s Generation appellation symbol lollipop character data on top of the 'Dungeon and Fighter's' gamer's characters.

With this method, they narrowed down to total number of 113 people who found all the Girls Generation appellation. And among these specifics, 47 gamers used Tae Yeon’s voice appellation as their main.

Tae Yeon, also known as Taengoo as a term of endearment among her fans, has cute appearance and outstanding singing skills that contributed to her popularity. Another reason behind her rising popularity in and outside the game seems to be from feeling of familiarity due to her appearance in presently airing MBC variety show ‘We Got Married’ .

And next, Tiffany and Jessica’s appellation was most popular, followed by Yoona, Yuri, and Sunny’s. Twenty-four ‘Dungeon and Fighter’ users used Tiffany’s appellation resulting her to be 2nd place after Tae Yeon.

Tiffany obtained many male based fans from her popping optimistic personality with her aegyo filled eye smile. And Jessica was 3rd place with her charm with 10 users using her appellation.

Yoona and Yuri, and Sunny all had 9 users using their appellation, in the 4th place. Girl’s Generation member Seo Hyun had 3 users, and Soo Young and Hyo Yeon each had 1 user.

Neohpeul since the 9th of April, began the appellation event in the game. If the gamer collects 357 of ‘Girl’s Generation’s heart filled box’ and have passed the quests requested through the designated NPC- they receive ‘Girl’s Generation’ appellation item.

This special Girls Generation appellation not only has ability to increase strength, intelligence, and power of the game characters but also each appellation comes with all the Girl’s Generation member’s actual recorded voices. Because of this reason, many ‘Dungeon and Fighter’ gamers collect these valuables.

SNSD is now becoming the number 1 guest to invite to a VIP movie premier.

SNSD is using their break from the music industry to go to premiers and enjoy movies that are opening recently. The members Yuri and Sooyoung are called the most. They went to the VIP premier of the new movie "Shadow's Murder" with Sunny on the 23rd of March. They also watched the movie "Scandal in Insadong" with Hyoyeon at its premier. [04.20.09] Kang Worl Lae Was the Person Who Created SNSD's HaHa Dance.

The company learned that the person who created Sam Sung's "HaHaHa Campaign 2009" dances which were performed by Girls' Generation was created by Clone's Kang Worl Lae.

Anyone can learn these moves and was concept of hope and courage. If you learn all 9 dance steps taught by SNSD, you will now get a chance to follow HaHaHa dance.

Especially, during the dance, you could notice the sign languages was used during the dance.

Opening up your left arms and circling around it means "everyone together", moving upward/downward with your thumb/index finger/middle finger means "laugh". Kang Worl Lae who coordinated the moves, added these moves to the dance because he wanted to cheer for the disabled people.

Kang Worl had this horrible accident in 2000, which his lower-body was paralazed due to motorcycle accident.

[04.20.09] Kang In teared up during his last broadcast with Tae Yeon.

Because of his tight schedule, Kang In had to step down as the DJ of the radio show called, "Kang In and Tae Yeon's Chin Han Chin Gu". This left fans really sad.

SNSD “We are the Nation’s Fairies? We’re worried we’ll lose our modesty”

We heard the modesty of SNSD being labeled the Nation’s Fairies.

On KBS 2TV’s ‘Entertainment Relay’ broadcasted on the 18소, SNSD stated their mind saying “(People) think of us as pretty and lovable Nation’s Fairies. Yoona expressed her overwhelming will for acting by actually drinking alcohol during her filming of MBC midweek drama, "Cinderella Man".

The scene where she drinks is during the part with Yoojin (Yoona) returns to Korea after studying abroad at EsMod Fashion School in Paris after her father's death.
